The mission of this project is to highlight community assets through storytelling and visual art. An important component of that is charitable giving through art sales. Participants are not obligated to buy any work created from their stories. Instead, each interviewee designates a non profit organization aligned in some way with their What's Good place. 25% of any sale of work created from their story will be donated to that group. Aaron Swanson chose the Rathbun Land & Water Alliance, a non profit that "seeks to foster a voluntary approach driven by landowners, water users, and public and private organizations to protect and enhance land, water, and economic resources in the Rathbun region."
